About me

My main areas of interest in the last years were spatial cognition with a focus on the transfer of active navigation findings from virtual environments to real environments, cognitive processes in action and activity memory of actors and observers, and methodological aspects in implicit attitude measurement with the Implicit Association Test (IAT). I am most interested in all research that applies psychological theory on practical environmental and technological problems of humans. My recent interest of research concerns spatial cognition in relation to ambiguities in built environments, which relate to space syntax and signage.
