About me

I was born in Brescia, Italy, where I completed my studies in B.Sc. Information Engineering and later M.Sc Informatics Engineering. I came to Freiburg to write my Master Thesis, under the supervision of Dr. Marco Ragni. During my time in Freiburg I developed a cognitive agent, based on the cognitive architecture ACT-R and the robotic system Lego Mindstorms, with the aim to better understand human navigation in labyrinths. After completing my studies I continued my research in Freiburg as part of the SFB-TR8 Cspace project. I am currently working on a computer-vision-based perceptual system for ACT-R, as well as investigating the relation between perception and planning, using the planning problem Rush-Hour as testbed.
