How space structures activities
Prof. Dr. Sabine Timpf, Universität Augsburg
This talk explores the idea that human spatial activities are structured or even elicited by the surrounding environment. Using the example of navigation within a train station, this approach is compared with schematic geometry and conclusions drawn concerning the modeling of the environment for agent-based simulation of navigation.
