Mehul Bhatt.
I am currently Professor (W1) within the Department of Computer Science at the University of Bremen, and Stiftungs Professor at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI , Bremen).

Since 2007, I am also member of the Cognitive Systems group, first as a DAAD Scholar, and subsequently during 2008-2010 as an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow. Since 2011, I have been an elected member and principal investigator in the Spatial Cognition Research Center (SFB/TR 8).

From 2002 - 2007, I was based at the Department of Computer Science at La Trobe University (Melbourne, Australia) where I completed a Masters in Information Technology (2004), and a PhD in Computer Science (2008). Up until 2001, I was in Mumbai, where I did my basic schooling completing a Bachelor in Economics at the Narsee Monjee College of Commerce & Economics (Mumbai, India).
